Booking Policy

Scheduling, cancellation, weather, rush requests โ€” everything you need to know before your shoot.

At a glance

The four things most clients want to know upfront.

24-hour delivery

Delivered within 24 hours after the end of your shoot โ€” e.g. shoot ends 6pm โ†’ ready by 6pm tomorrow. Virtual staging: ~2 business days.

4-hour cancel window

Free to reschedule or cancel with more than 4 hours' notice. Less than 4 hours (or property not ready) is a $49 fee.

Weather flexibility

Shoot interiors at full price, return for exteriors on a clear day ($39 return fee). Or cancel โ€” free with 4+ hours' notice.

7-day correction window

15 minutes of post-delivery edits are included. Issues must be reported within 7 days โ€” RAW files may be deleted after.

What to do before the shoot

Three short reads cover almost everything you need to do to get a property ready. Skim before your appointment for the smoothest possible session.

Booking your shoot

Schedule a shoot online via the Book a Shoot page, or call the regional phone number for your market. Most shoots are scheduled within 24-48 hours of booking.

  • Appointment length: typically 45โ€“60 minutes for a residential listing; longer for larger properties or multi-service bookings.
  • Standard delivery: approximately 24 hours after the end of the shoot.
  • Virtual staging delivery: typically 2 business days after you identify the images and staging style.

Rescheduling and cancellation

When fees apply and how to give us notice.

Free reschedule

More than 4 hours before your appointment โ€” no charge, just call or reply to your confirmation email.

Less than 4 hours' notice

$49 cancellation fee. Same fee applies if the property isn't ready when the photographer arrives.

20-minute wait window

If the property isn't accessible or ready, the photographer waits up to 20 minutes before triggering the cancellation fee.

Trip-charge bookings

Long-haul or out-of-market shoots that include a trip charge require 24 hours' notice to avoid the trip fee.

Weather contingency

If precipitation rolls in, you have flexibility. You can cancel at the time of the shoot without penalty for the weather itself, or we can shoot the interiors at full price and return on a clear day for the exteriors. The Inclement Weather Return fee is $39 โ€” minimal coverage for the photographer's gas and time.

Indoor shots typically proceed regardless of weather. Diffused overcast light often produces brighter, more even interior images.

We may also delay, modify, or skip exterior, twilight, or drone shots if weather, lighting, safety, legal, or access conditions are unsuitable. Decisions are made by the photographer on site using professional judgment. Full details: Inclement Weather Return Policy.

Editing and revisions

What's included, when extras apply, and your reporting window.

Included

Basic edits + up to 15 minutes of post-delivery correction requests if reported within 7 days of the shoot.

Beyond included

Additional editing or revisions are billed at $100 per hour. We provide an estimate before starting.

7-day reporting window

Issues must be reported within 7 days. After that, RAW files may no longer be available to make changes.

Rush requests

Need delivery faster than 24 hours? We offer same-day rush turnaround as an add-on for shoots scheduled before 1 PM and next-day rush, if you want them early next day (10AM)

Payment

Payment is due before media delivery. Pay online via secure Authorize.net checkout, Zelle (specify Invoice number or property address in Note), ACH, or card on file (call us to securely set it up). Failed or reversed payments may incur a $35 processing fee. We accept all major credit cards.

Property access and safety

We may enter and shoot the property without anyone present if the booking party has authorized access (lockbox, gate code, property manager, builder rep, etc.). You're responsible for confirming we have lawful access and for any post-shoot resetting (alarms, locks, thermostats).

Every Shoot2Sell photographer and drone pilot who attends a property in person is background-checked before being authorized โ€” important for vacant listings, luxury properties, and any time the agent isn't on site.
