Sell Location, Not Just Property
Vacation renters and relocators want context. How close is the lake? Where's the pool? Is there parking? What's the neighborhood?
Aerials answer everything in one image. We fly at altitudes showing property context without losing detail. For waterfront, lakefront, ranch properties — aerials are the most-clicked images.
For long-term leases and corporate relocations, the same aerials show commute access, neighborhood context, proximity to schools and employment centers — the factors relocators evaluate before committing to a year-long lease. Whether you're listing on Airbnb, VRBO, Zillow Rentals, Apartments.com, or Realtor.com, aerial photos consistently lift clicks and inquiries across every rental platform.

Rental Aerial Photography FAQs
1How do aerial photos showcase waterfront or lakefront rental properties?
Aerial photography is the single best way to show waterfront access, dock proximity, lake size, and shoreline orientation. Renters evaluating a lakehouse or beach property want to see exactly how close the water is, where the dock sits relative to the house, and what the views look like from above. We capture these angles at altitudes that highlight the water relationship without losing the property itself.
2What happens if weather affects my drone shoot?
Drones cannot fly in any rain — even light drizzle can damage the electronics, so any active precipitation is a hard stop for aerial work. Wind is harder to judge from the ground, so the pilot may make a final call on site if winds are borderline — that's a pilot judgment, not a client miss.
For obvious conditions (any rain, thunderstorms, visibly heavy wind), make the call early: contact us at least 4 hours before your scheduled shoot and we'll reschedule at no charge. Closer to shoot time, the crew may already be dispatched and a trip fee can apply. If we're on site and conditions turn unsafe — drizzle, gusts, lightning in the area — we'll reschedule at no fee.
3Are your pilots FAA-certified and insured?
Yes — all flights are conducted by FAA Part 107 certified pilots operating within applicable FAA regulations. We carry commercial drone insurance and provide certificates of compliance on request. We assist with FAA airspace authorization when required, subject to approval and airspace restrictions (typically near airports, military sites, heliports, stadiums, and any Temporary Flight Restrictions).
4What do aerial photos typically show for a rental property?
We capture the property in context — proximity to the lake, beach, or waterfront; pool and outdoor entertaining areas; driveway and parking; neighborhood setting; nearby trails or parks; and the overall lot layout. These are the angles that help renters understand what the property actually looks like before they commit.
5Can I schedule aerial photography around tenant turnovers?
Absolutely. We coordinate shoots around your turnover schedule to avoid disrupting tenants. Most aerial shoots take 15–20 minutes on-site, so they fit easily into a cleaning or staging window between rentals. We just need clear access to the property exterior.
6Can you shoot multiple rental properties in one visit?
Yes — for owners managing multiple rental properties in the same metro area, we can schedule same-day shoots and route the crew efficiently between addresses. Share your property list in advance and we'll plan the day so every listing is captured and delivered on the same turnaround.
7What areas does Shoot2Sell serve?
We serve rental property owners, vacation rental hosts, and property managers across all major Texas metros: Dallas-Fort Worth (Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Prosper, Southlake, Flower Mound, Arlington, Rockwall, Denton, Celina, and more), Houston (The Woodlands, Katy, Sugar Land, Pearland, Cypress, Spring, League City, and more), Austin (Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Leander, Lakeway, Dripping Springs, and more), and San Antonio (New Braunfels, Boerne, Schertz, Cibolo, and more).
Outlying suburbs or rural areas may incur a modest trip charge. We are also happy to travel well beyond these metros to locations like East Texas and Southern Oklahoma for a custom travel fee.

8Do we need someone on-site during the shoot?
While not required, we strongly recommend having someone on-site during the shoot. This allows you to review visuals in real time and request any specific shots or angles, or areas you want captured.
If you cannot attend, you are welcome to send us special requests in advance — such as community amenities (pool, clubhouse), specific rooms, or preferred angles — and we will do our best to include them.
If no one is present and no prior requests are provided, our photographers will proceed using their professional judgment and standard coverage guidelines, focusing on the main living areas and key features. Secondary spaces or specific requests may not be captured.
If additional images are requested afterward that require a return visit, a reshoot fee will apply. Planning ahead or being on-site helps ensure everything is captured the first time and avoids additional costs.
