Builder Aerial Video FAQs
1How long is the aerial video?
Choose Your Format
Aerial Curb Appeal (30 sec)
High-impact highlights of community scale, lot positioning, and key features — built for social media, listing sites, and quick sales presentations.

Need a custom length or hybrid edit combining aerial and ground footage? Contact our team.
2Is the background music licensed for commercial use?
Yes — every aerial video includes fully licensed music cleared for commercial use across all marketing channels. You can publish to builder websites, social media, listing portals, YouTube, email campaigns, and sales presentations without any additional licensing fees or copyright concerns.
3Can you capture multiple properties or communities in one video?
Absolutely. We regularly produce multi-property and multi-community aerial videos for builders with several active developments. A single flyover can showcase multiple lot positions, model homes, amenity areas, and construction phases. We coordinate flight paths to capture everything efficiently in one session, keeping costs down while maximizing coverage.
4What happens if weather affects my drone shoot?
Drones cannot fly in any rain — even light drizzle can damage the electronics, so any active precipitation is a hard stop for aerial work. Wind is harder to judge from the ground, so the pilot may make a final call on site if winds are borderline — that's a pilot judgment, not a client miss.
For obvious conditions (any rain, thunderstorms, visibly heavy wind), make the call early: contact us at least 4 hours before your scheduled shoot and we'll reschedule at no charge. Closer to shoot time, the crew may already be dispatched and a trip fee can apply. If we're on site and conditions turn unsafe — drizzle, gusts, lightning in the area — we'll reschedule at no fee.
5How quickly do we receive the finished video?
Standard delivery is 24 hours from the shoot date. Your video receives professional editing including color grading, stabilization, speed ramping, licensed music scoring, and title/logo overlays. The final file is delivered in web-optimized MP4 format ready for listing portals, social media, and builder websites.
6Where can we use the aerial video?
Permanent usage rights for all marketing channels — builder sites, MLS, listing portals, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, email campaigns, investor presentations, sales centers, digital signage. No expiration.
7What areas does Shoot2Sell serve?
We serve builders, developers, and new construction marketing teams across all major Texas metros: Dallas-Fort Worth (Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Prosper, Southlake, Flower Mound, Arlington, Rockwall, Denton, Celina, and more), Houston (The Woodlands, Katy, Sugar Land, Pearland, Cypress, Spring, League City, and more), Austin (Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Leander, Lakeway, Dripping Springs, and more), and San Antonio (New Braunfels, Boerne, Schertz, Cibolo, and more).
Outlying suburbs or rural areas may incur a modest trip charge. We are also happy to travel well beyond these metros to locations like East Texas and Southern Oklahoma for a custom travel fee.

8Do we need someone on-site during the shoot?
While not required, we strongly recommend having someone on-site during the shoot. This allows you to review visuals in real time and request any specific shots or angles, or areas you want captured.
If you cannot attend, you are welcome to send us special requests in advance — such as community amenities (pool, clubhouse), specific rooms, or preferred angles — and we will do our best to include them.
If no one is present and no prior requests are provided, our photographers will proceed using their professional judgment and standard coverage guidelines, focusing on the main living areas and key features. Secondary spaces or specific requests may not be captured.
If additional images are requested afterward that require a return visit, a reshoot fee will apply. Planning ahead or being on-site helps ensure everything is captured the first time and avoids additional costs.
