Sell the Vision Before the Roof Goes On
Buyers and investors need more than floor plans — they need context. Lot positioning, community layout, amenity proximity. Aerial photography delivers that perspective in one shot. Developments using drone photography see 20–35% faster lot sales and 5–10% higher prices (NAHB, 2024).
From pre-sale marketing to lender packages and construction documentation, aerials give stakeholders a clear view of your project at every phase. Show lot dimensions, proximity to schools and retail, green space, infrastructure access, and community layout — all from overhead.
FAA Part 107 certified pilots. $1M liability insurance. Professional editing included — color correction, perspective adjustment, blue sky enhancement. 24-hour delivery. Permanent usage rights for all marketing channels.
Why Builders Invest in Aerial Photography
Aerials generate 68% more buyer interest than ground photos alone — expanding your prospect pool before the model home opens (Redfin, 2023).
Drone photos double time-on-page and increase clicks to contact forms and scheduling (NAHB, 2024).
All pilots hold FAA Part 107 certificates with $1M liability insurance. We handle airspace authorizations including LAANC in controlled zones.
Lot Layout Proof
Dimensions, setbacks, orientation, buildable area. The data buyers need to choose between homesites.
Construction Progress
Site prep to completion. Visual timeline that proves velocity to lenders and investors.
Community Advantage
Schools, retail, parks, infrastructure. Buyers pay premium for proximity — aerials prove it.
Premium Justification
Scale and exclusivity ground photos can't show. Justify higher pricing with perspective.

Complete Your Aerial Marketing Package
Aerial photography pairs with complementary visual services to create a comprehensive marketing toolkit for your developments.

Professional cinematic aerial drone video with sweeping reveals, fly-overs, and orbital shots. Horizontal + vertical cuts included.
Context Sells Location
Ground photos show what a home looks like. Aerials show where it lives. Buyers choosing between communities need proximity to schools, retail, parks, and corridors. Overhead perspective delivers that context instantly.

For master-planned communities, aerials reveal full development scope — completed phases, active construction, future lots, amenity centers, surrounding infrastructure. Builds buyer confidence. Accelerates presales on undeveloped sections.
Aerials also serve as construction documentation for lender draws, investor updates, milestone tracking. One session creates assets for marketing, finance, and operations.

Builder Aerial Photography FAQs
1What FAA requirements apply to drone photography on builder projects?
Yes — all flights are conducted by FAA Part 107 certified pilots operating within applicable FAA regulations. We carry commercial drone insurance and provide certificates of compliance on request. We assist with FAA airspace authorization when required, subject to approval and airspace restrictions (typically near airports, military sites, heliports, stadiums, and any Temporary Flight Restrictions).
For active construction sites, we coordinate with your site team to ensure safe flight operations around cranes, scaffolding, and active work zones.
2What happens if weather affects my drone shoot?
Drones cannot fly in any rain — even light drizzle can damage the electronics, so any active precipitation is a hard stop for aerial work. Wind is harder to judge from the ground, so the pilot may make a final call on site if winds are borderline — that's a pilot judgment, not a client miss.
For obvious conditions (any rain, thunderstorms, visibly heavy wind), make the call early: contact us at least 4 hours before your scheduled shoot and we'll reschedule at no charge. Closer to shoot time, the crew may already be dispatched and a trip fee can apply. If we're on site and conditions turn unsafe — drizzle, gusts, lightning in the area — we'll reschedule at no fee.
3Can you fly drones over active construction sites?
Yes — we regularly document active construction sites at every phase from site prep through completion. Our pilots follow strict safety protocols including maintaining altitude above work crews, coordinating with site superintendents, and scheduling flights during low-activity windows when possible. We carry $1M liability coverage and can provide certificates of insurance to your general contractor or project owner.
4Are there HOA or airspace restrictions that affect drone photography?
Some areas have airspace restrictions (near airports, military bases, or TFRs) that require advance authorization. We handle all FAA clearances as part of our standard workflow — no extra effort on your end. For HOA-managed communities, we recommend notifying the HOA management company before the shoot as a courtesy. In our experience, HOAs welcome professional documentation of new construction and community improvements.
5How quickly do we receive the aerial photos?
Standard delivery is 24 hours from the flight date. Every aerial image receives professional editing including color correction, exposure balancing, perspective correction, and blue sky/green grass enhancement. High-resolution files are delivered digitally, organized by property and angle type. Rush delivery is available for time-sensitive milestones or marketing launches.
6What usage rights do we receive for the aerial images?
You receive permanent, unlimited usage rights for all marketing channels — builder websites, MLS listings, listing portals, social media, email campaigns, print brochures, sales center displays, investor decks, lender packages, and signage. No licensing fees, no restrictions, no expiration dates. Use the images as many times and in as many formats as you need.
7What areas does Shoot2Sell serve?
We serve builders, developers, and new construction marketing teams across all major Texas metros: Dallas-Fort Worth (Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Prosper, Southlake, Flower Mound, Arlington, Rockwall, Denton, Celina, and more), Houston (The Woodlands, Katy, Sugar Land, Pearland, Cypress, Spring, League City, and more), Austin (Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Leander, Lakeway, Dripping Springs, and more), and San Antonio (New Braunfels, Boerne, Schertz, Cibolo, and more).
Outlying suburbs or rural areas may incur a modest trip charge. We are also happy to travel well beyond these metros to locations like East Texas and Southern Oklahoma for a custom travel fee.

8Do we need someone on-site during the shoot?
While not required, we strongly recommend having someone on-site during the shoot. This allows you to review visuals in real time and request any specific shots or angles, or areas you want captured.
If you cannot attend, you are welcome to send us special requests in advance — such as community amenities (pool, clubhouse), specific rooms, or preferred angles — and we will do our best to include them.
If no one is present and no prior requests are provided, our photographers will proceed using their professional judgment and standard coverage guidelines, focusing on the main living areas and key features. Secondary spaces or specific requests may not be captured.
If additional images are requested afterward that require a return visit, a reshoot fee will apply. Planning ahead or being on-site helps ensure everything is captured the first time and avoids additional costs.
